Manage construction activities.

Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet targets and deadlines.
Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, bad weather, or construction site emergencies.

Coordinate facility maintenance or repair activities.

Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the routine maintenance and/or repair of building systems.
Contract or oversee craft work, such as painting or plumbing.
Coordinate an emergency repair of building structures or systems.

Prepare financial documents, reports, or budgets.

Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and/or cost tracking reports.

Communicate organizational information to customers or other stakeholders.

Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.
Communicate project status updates to internal and external stakeholders on a routine basis.

Perform, or contract others to perform, prebuilding assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, or energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.

Estimate sustainable project costs and activities.

Evaluate LEED or equivalent sustainability programs, including potential costs, for project estimating and feasibility.
Develop construction budgets to compare green and non-green construction alternatives, in terms of short-term costs, long-term costs, or environmental impacts.
Apply green building strategies to reduce energy costs or minimize carbon output or other sources of harm to the environment.

Analyze forecasting data to improve business decisions.

Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
Assist in a project audit to determine compliance and cost-effectiveness of a recently completed project.
