Read work orders or other instructions to determine event specifications or equipment requirements

Assist with lighting adjustments to artist or event specifications

Accommodate artist/ event A/V requirements

Assist with the technical advance with artist s representatives

Set up electrical or performance equipment.

Demonstrate a working understanding of how to ensure event lighting and audio needs are scheduled and met

Maintain production or event equipment

Maintain and repair of sound light and stage equipment including drapes and risers
Ensure proper care and handling of all company and rental lighting & A/V equipment

Assist with production and performance needs.

Assist with production throughout the house as needed
Collaborate with other workers to use equipment or perform technical procedures

Interact with visiting production crews to ensure a successful show

Assist audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc
Assist with any Special Events operations

Load and unload equipment

Performs the load-in and load-out of band equipment and rental equipment

Operate event equipment or software

Demonstrate a working understanding of safe and consistent operations of lighting

General Practices

Demonstrate a working understanding of the company’s policies, mission and vision, culture, and employee expectations
Demonstrate ability to take initiative, work in high-pressure environments, and engage in appropriate communication practices
